Visa Run

Ranong has a Thai Immigration Office and thousands of foreigners come to Ranong each year to do a Visa run. To do a Visa you can go over to Burma/ Myanmar, to either Victoria Point or the Andaman Club Casino.  A Visa run to the Andaman Club is the best way to go and only 850 Baht including return boat trip. There are also an equal number of tourists who come here to stay on one of the many islands, Mainly either (Koh Phayam) or (Koh Chang) and some stay there for the entire "dry" season.

We can offer assistance with  both visa runs, The first one is by the Andaman club which is the most convenient and comfortable way to go, with the boat leaving about every hour.                                             

For the more adventurous of you the long-tailed boat (Hang yaaw) is the second option. If you wish to have the experience of Thailand then this is the way to go, for Burma/Myanmar Immigrations. Then there is the haggling for the boat price you should be looking for about 200 Baht.  But you will need 10 us$ each. Also we advise you to look for a Long-Tail mostly full, for you can haggle them down for a better price with a bit of luck. ,
